What to expect
Session 1 | 2.5 hours
Building
An introduction to clay and techniques awaits you. You’ll learn two hand-building techniques and build your own decorations.
Session 2 | 2.5 hours
Painting
Underglaze application! On this day of the workshop, you will be painting and drawing your pieces so we can bake it the next day.
When
We have workshops to build and paint your ceramic decorations on Tuesday starting at 18:00 and Saturday from 16:00.
Where
Field Trip Studio, Pplk. Sochora 435/5, Prague 7, Czech Republic.
Who will teach the workshop?
The course is taught by the studio founders, Pam and Fran.
Price
The workshop is 1,700 CZK (VAT included).
What's included
All materials, tools, drinks, and snacks are included in the price.
What to bring
Working with clay can get a bit messy, so we recommend wearing either some old clothes, an apron or an oversized shirt.
Also, if you feel like it, bring a few images to be inspired by!

We will cover two hand-building techniques: pinch-pot and slab-making.

The course is in English, but we also speak Spanish.

All workshop/class/course bookings are non-refundable, but we are very happy to rebook you onto a new date if you can no longer make it the day you booked. If you need to change your booking, we ask for more 72 hours notice to do so.

Your pieces will be ready for collection after two weeks of completing the workshop. We’ll send you an email as soon as they’re ready.

Yes we do! We serve small snacks, filter coffee and tea.
Talking about drinks, we brew pour-over coffee. We also offer 4 different types of teas, and unlimited water-refills.
If you have any allergies, please let us know beforehand.

All workshops have a limited capacity of 6 people. We prefer these small groups to have the bandwidth to give a class where everyone has the space to ask and learn.
